    Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC), a diversified global media and advertising technology company serving Latino consumers, will broadcast the U.S. Congressional debate between Democrat incumbent Darren Soto and Republican opponent Wayne Liebnitzky on Friday, October 26th at 6pm EST on its Univision Orlando and UniMas Orlando television affiliates serving the Orlando market. The debate will also be simulcast on NoticiasYa Orlando Facebook page, NoticiasYa Tampa Bay Facebook page, and NoticiasYa.com where the public will have the opportunity to pose their own questions. Entravision has partnered with Mi Familia Vota for the 2018 Florida District 9 debate.

    The two candidates are familiar with each other after Darren Soto (D-Fla) defeated Wayne Liebnitzky (R-Fla) in the 2016 election. Mr. Soto was elected to the Florida Legislature in 2007 where he served for almost 10 years before being elected to the U.S. House in 2016. As the incumbent, he wants to incentivize higher-paying jobs in Central Florida and expand low-income housing projects in the region. His opponent, Mr. Liebnitzky is a Navy veteran and runs a Mac Tools franchise in St. Cloud, FL. He wishes to prioritize health care and other social resources for disabled veterans and invest more money into the military.

    KCEC’s local newscast, Noticias Univision Colorado, was the number one Spanish-language newscast in Denver, garnering a 79% share of Spanish-language news viewership among Adults 18-49 at 5PM; outperforming its closest Spanish language competitor with triple-digit audience advantages (+200% rtg.), according to the Nielsen Station Index ratings report for the May 2018 measurement period.

    Univision Denver also outperformed its closest Spanish competitor (Telemundo Denver) in primetime (M-F 6p-10p), early fringe (M-F 3p-5p), and daytime (M-F 10a-3p) among key adult demos:

    Entravision Communications Corporation Enters into Agreement to Acquire NBC Affiliate KMIR-TV and MyNetworkTV Affiliate KPSE-LD Serving Palm Springs, California

    SANTA MONICA, Calif., July 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — Entravision Communications Corporation (NYSE: EVC), a diversified media company serving Latino audiences and communities, today announced that it has entered into an agreement with OTA Broadcasting (PSP), LLC to acquire Stations KMIR-TV, the NBC affiliate, and KPSE-LD, the MyNetworkTV affiliate, serving Palm Springs, California, for $21 million.  Including anticipated synergies, the transaction represents an attractive purchase price multiple of less than 6.5 times expected blended 2016-2017 pro forma broadcast cash flow, is expected to be immediately free cash flow accretive and is expected to be funded on a tax efficient basis with proceeds from the FCC broadcast incentive auction and treated as a like-kind exchange pursuant to Section 1031 of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as amended.  The transaction, which is subject to customary closing conditions, including the prior consent of the Federal Communications Commission, is expected to close in the fourth quarter of 2017.
